Revolutionary property investment service launched

It will search for established and new residential properties on behalf of buyers, evaluate suitability and negotiate price. But instead of the buyer paying for the service, Seekology is paid by the seller, or the seller’s agent.

Tim Godden, national director of Seekology, said this new service will save buyers thousands of dollars.

A standard buyer’s agent, he said, typically costs a minimum of $10,000.

“Buyers’ agents are property experts, and the benefits and time savings offered come at a high cost, as buyers are charged steep fees,” he added.

“We established Seekology to break down unnecessary price burdens and make it more affordable for current and prospective investors wanting to enter the property market or expand their portfolio.”

As an investor himself, Mr Godden said the time and effort taken to source and evaluate the best investment opportunities can be frustrating.

“Extensive research is required to find an investment property that provides superior financial returns. This takes investors a lot of time and requires specific skills and experience.

“A professional buyer’s agent uses their experience, knowledge and contacts to provide a highly beneficial service for investors – usually at a cost that buyers have often found unaffordable.

“The Seekology model allows investors to employ the services of a team of professionals at absolutely no cost to them.”

For an established property, Seekology will earn an industry standard referral commission from the seller or seller’s agent.

For new properties, the developer or marketing agent pays for the Seekology service.

A range of additional services are also offered for a temporary refundable engagement fee, including property education and management, finance, structure and tax planning, and resale of property.

The service is available to both Australian and international investors.
