Larger retail and health facilities, including Liverpool Hospital and Westfield Liverpool, lie within a short drive to the north.
Recreation options encompass Remount Park—commemorating Australia’s light horse brigades—walking trails through remnant bushland north of the station, and nearby Heathcote National Park for more extensive bushwalking and cycling excursions.
The area preserves significant Tharawal Aboriginal heritage, including over 500 known sites such as rock engravings and campsites within the bush reserve on the military land.
