Ebbw Vale

Ebbw Vale is a residential suburb situated approximately 7.1 kilometres east-northeast of the Ipswich central business district and about 33.8 kilometres southwest of Brisbane CBD. 

The suburb is bounded to the north by the Main Line railway and to the southeast by the Cunningham Highway. The name 'Ebbw Vale' originates from a coal mine in the area, itself named after the Welsh town of the same name.

According to the 2021 Census, Ebbw Vale had a population of 540 residents. The suburb covers an area of approximately 1.3 square kilometres. The median age of residents is 37 years, which is slightly below the Queensland median of 38 years.
