Dimboola is a rural township in the Wimmera region of western Victoria, about 335 kilometres north-west of Melbourne and approximately 38 kilometres west of Horsham. Situated within the Shire of Hindmarsh on the banks of the Wimmera River, the township serves as an important service centre for the surrounding agricultural district. Grain cropping, sheep grazing and transport-related industries contribute significantly to the local economy, while its river setting and nearby natural attractions support tourism and recreation.
