Guildford is a historic suburb located approximately 12 kilometres northeast of Perth's central business district, within the City of Swan in Western Australia. Established in 1829, it is one of the state's oldest settlements and the gateway to the renowned Swan Valley wine region.

Guildford offers four self-guided heritage walk trails featuring 50 interpretive panels that narrate the town's rich history. These trails guide visitors through significant sites, including Stirling Square, the Colonial Gaol, and the Courthouse, providing insights into the area's colonial past. 

The suburb boasts a vibrant cultural scene, with antique shops, art galleries, and various dining options. Notable establishments include Alfred's Kitchen, a renowned late-night burger joint operating since 1946, and Padbury's Cafe, known for its Meringue Munro pancakes and high teas. 

Guildford is the gateway to the Swan Valley, Western Australia's oldest wine region. Visitors can explore numerous wineries, breweries, and gourmet food producers, all within a short drive or even a leisurely bike ride from the suburb.
