Average median house prices in WA have risen as a whole, pulling DARCH, 6065 values up and netting property investors a capital gain of 8.42% for the past year.

Investors saw the median home price rise to $1,030,000.

Profits due to an upward trend in home prices in the suburb averaged 17.46% per annum over a 3-year period.

DARCH now ranks at the 299th place on a list of fastest growing suburbs in the territory.

Figures from the previous quarter show that capital gains for real estate buyers in DARCH are low, as opposed to average gains per annum over the past five years.

Darch is a suburb within the City of Wanneroo, approximately 17 kilometres north of Perth's central business district. The area was predominantly rural until the late 1990s, when it underwent significant residential development. The suburb was named in 1997 after an early settler family in the region. 

According to the 2021 Census, Darch has a population of 7,347, with a median age of 35. The suburb predominantly consists of separate houses, with an average household size of 3.4 people. 

As of November 2024, the median house price in Darch is approximately $875,000, reflecting a 24.8% growth over the past year. The median weekly rent is around $750, indicating a 21.0% increase in the same period. 

Darch hosts several educational institutions, such as Ashdale Primary School, which serves students from Kindergarten to Year 6. Ashdale Secondary College, which opened in 2009, caters to high school students. Kingsway Christian College, a non-denominational Christian school founded in 1983, offers Kindergarten to Year 12 education. 

The suburb offers various amenities, including the Darch Plaza shopping centre and the larger Kingsway City Shopping Centre nearby. Recreational facilities include several small residential parks and Landsdale Park, a bushland reserve with interpretative signage. 

Darch is serviced by multiple Transperth bus routes, such as Route 374, which connects Whitfords Station to Mirrabooka Bus Station and serves Westport Parade, Ashdale Boulevard, and Evandale Road. Route 450, which operates along Kingsway, links Warwick Station to Landsdale. These services provide residents convenient access to Perth's CBD and surrounding areas.
