In terms of using equity to grow your portfolio, that's a question I get asked consistently. You definitely need a lender who will allow you to do valuations on your property consistently at no cost to you. And they are available out there in the marketplace. So in theory the way that you use equity to purchase another property is whenever your existing property grows in value, you get a valuation and you try and get an increase in that value to use as a deposit for your next property. It is complex. You should get good advice on it but having a lending package and a broker that is associated with your plan is very important.
