A long term ‘master plan’ vision for NSW transport includes more than 200 recommendations for the future of transport, road and infrastructure across the state, pointing to more than $53 billion worth of investment.

The draft includes suggestions for Sydney’s railways, including the North West and South West rail links, a second harbour rail crossing and a new CBD line.

Sydney’s motorway network and the state’s regional towns will also be focused on.

The 370-page draft is open for comment until 26 October 2012.
