Property guru to reveal top investment suburbs
A well-known property mentor and TV presenter is set to unveil her exclusive list of hotspots for 2014.
Margaret Lomas, Sky Business property expert and host of Property Success, will reveal her top picks to investors during her upcoming roadshow.

Ms Lomas said her hot list avoids over-hyped areas where interest has already peaked.
“Each year at this once-a-year seminar, I release some of my latest investing hotspots,” she said.
“What's different about these hotspots is that, rather than being an obvious area that is being written about and where buyers abound, my hotspots are carefully-chosen potential areas that show future growth drivers and which investors can be sure won't have buying frenzy.”
Ms Lomas will also release her “warm spot information”, aimed at experienced investors with an appetite for risk.
“These are areas that might present a great opportunity but are still speculative,” she said.
In addition, Ms Lomas aims to teach investors how to pick their own hotspots.
She warned many people start investing without fully understanding the market.
“Most people become an investor by buying a property – and then wonder why it has not worked out well for them,” she said.
“Investors notoriously invest in areas being written about or on the basis of suggestions from friends or people with property to sell.
“Without the skills and knowledge that successful investors need, buying property can only ever be about how you feel about the property, and its physical appeal, rather than the actual growth drivers.”
