Over the past two weeks more than 400 property businesses have already secured nominations from investors. There is strong competition in every category – with investors from every state having their say.

The Investors Choice Awards, being held in partnership with homesales.com.au, are a new and unique initiative that will allow both new and seasoned investors to vote for their most trusted property professionals. Investors who vote also have the opportunity to win an Apple Watch or Samsung Gear S.

The awards will uncover the most highly regarded businesses in each state, with investors able to vote for professionals across 12 categories including buyer’s agents, property investment advisers, depreciation specialists and property managers.

Andy Scott, publisher of Smart Property Investment, said the awards demonstrated how important it was for investors to have an A-team of property professionals to help them achieve the best results from their portfolio.

“It’s great to see that good property investment professionals are changing the lives of their clients and those people are happy to recommend them. Motivated and successful investors are willing to share their experiences to help others achieve the same outcomes,” he said.

Homesales.com.au general manager Rhett Dallwitz said the group is proud to be supporting the new initiative, which will assist investors in finding the most highly recommended businesses in each state.

“We live in a reputation-based economy now so testimonials and results speak for themselves,” he said. “We’ve all had positive and negative experiences, regardless of the industry. If you’ve experienced great service and achieved your investment goals, most people within the investor community will want to talk about it to the people they know.

“Social media and the internet have made it far easier to research the investment market, but have also made it easier to call out bad service and performance. Reputation is vital.”

Investors still have plenty of time to have their say, with voting open until 31 July. Investors only need to vote for one professional and have the opportunity to win an Apple Watch or Samsung Gear S.

Voting is open to any investor who has used a professional to support the purchase of a property (whether an investment property or owner-occupied). Click here to vote for your favourite property professional.
