RateMyAgent has launched two weekly educational and industry-focused webinars this week: the Espresso Series and Property Banter.

These new series aim to address recent industry challenges by providing content that supports and helps the agent community navigate during this new normal world.

“Australia’s entire property industry, and the great agents that comprise it, [are] being confronted daily with challenges to many facets of business and ways of working,” said RateMyAgent CEO and co-founder Mark Armstrong.

The Espresso Series, which will be available every Wednesday, looks to help agents learn new practical skills in a short, sharp approach so they can thrive in an ever-changing environment.

Hosted by Mr Armstrong, the 15-minute sessions encourage agents to learn a new skill each week. Topics covered include embracing new technologies to build relationships whilst physical distancing, building a personal brand and keeping employees engaged during COVID-19 (and beyond).

In contrast, Property Banter, available every Friday, brings just that to its end of week timeslot – a bit of banter on the week that was in property.

The 30-minute sessions see co-hosts Mr Armstrong and Biggin & Scott director and auctioneer Russell Cambridge joined by leading industry professionals, such as real estate agent, coach and speaker Lisa B, RateMyAgent Australian Agent of the Year 2020 Josh Tesolin and leadership and mindset specialist Tanja Lee.

Property Banter gives agents an outlet to unwind every Friday. The livestream of informal and light-hearted banter will cover the latest industry news and insights on how to stay undisruptable. The series is also interactive to encourage questions and content sharing.

“While the series will bring a short burst of entertainment to agents’ working weeks, it’s the educational component we’re most excited about. We hope the insights shared and guests who join us will give agents the insights and tools to adapt, stay ‘undisruptable’ and build their relationships and trust with consumers, to go on and see their businesses thrive.”

The Espresso Series and Property Banter are hosted via RateMyAgent’s Zoom platform. Agents can sign up to the series in advance or watch past episodes through the website.

RateMyAgent stands as a trusted industry and consumer source, used by agents who sell 80 per cent of property across Australia.
