New site feature helps agents build credibility online

Agent Recognition allows agents to showcase specific achievements on their RateMyAgent profile to the people that matter most – prospective vendors.

Three achievement badges have been developed: Highly Recommended Badge, Trusted Agent Badge and Multi-Year Award Winner Badge.

Displaying ​Agent Recognition badges on profiles and throughout the RateMyAgent site allows agents to showcase that they are trusted, transparent and provide exceptional and consistent customer experiences.

To receive a Highly Recommended Badge, an agent needs to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction, meaning they have a RateMyAgent score in the top 20 per cent. An agent also needs to have sold at least 10 properties over the last 12 months.

To receive a Trusted Agent Badge, an agent must turn on “Automated Review Requests” or manually request reviews from all vendors, which means every vendor is invited to leave a review. This demonstrates that the agent embraces transparency and does not filter their requests.

A Multi-Year Award Winner Badge is awarded to an agent who has won the same RateMyAgent award across multiple years, either nationally or at state, city or suburb level.

RateMyAgent provides reviews, ratings and rankings for real estate agents in Australia and New Zealand. The website’s 800,000 verified reviews are attached to the property listing to which they relate, ensuring that the information provided is unique to the agent and from a genuine property seller or buyer.
