From a capital roadblock to an SMSF solution

27 MAR 2023 By Robyn Tongol 1 min read Investor Strategy

Smart Property Investment’s Phil Tarrant sits down with Eva Loisance, the manager for Finni Mortgages’ broker division, to talk about how her real-life clients, a couple in their 50s, wanted to climb higher on the property ladder with a second property but had been unable to do so due to rising rates limiting their borrowing options.

And while there is a lot of misconception about purchasing a property through an SMSF, Eva explains how and when the option can be the right fit for investors before debunking the myths that surround it.

Finally, the duo discusses the solution Eva provided for her clients and encourages borrowers to keep their minds open to unconventional options that can help them successfully navigate the rapidly changing lending landscape.
