The property, initially bought for $442,000, appreciated significantly, sparking a realisation in Stephen that property investment could be his golden ticket to passive income and early retirement.
Despite initial success, Stephen’s journey has not been without its setbacks. A venture into property development in Pascoe Vale South, Melbourne, taught him a hard lesson when he bought a property that turned out to be a wreck. Instead of deterring him, it reinforced the importance of thorough due diligence and the value of professional advice.
