Australian vendors to target international investors

A new global property website will promote real estate sales listings across 74 different countries, giving investors the opportunity to target international buyers.

CENTURY 21 announced on Wednesday its new global property website, century21global.com will automatically promote the company’s listings in 74 countries, in 16 languages and multiple currencies.

The company said CENTURY 21 offices across Australia and New Zealand would receive ‘global kits’ containing posters, marketing collateral and advice on how to win listings using the global website.

Chairman and owner of CENTURY 21 Australasia Charles Tarbey said the new portal would enable Australian sellers to expand their reach and capitalise on international interest in Australian property.

“For example, a buyer in Europe can view properties for sale in Australia, in their local language and currency, and communicate with the relevant CENTURY 21 agent via the site,” Mr Tarbey said.

“For a vendor selling their home through CENTURY 21 in Australia and New Zealand, the website may significantly expand their pool of potential buyers, giving them a competitive advantage over other sellers who might only have their properties promoted in a local market.”

The website will also make it easier for Australian investors who are looking to secure overseas properties.

“CENTURY 21 Global collates and generates live data on every property listed with CENTURY 21 around the world, and translates language, currency and unit-measurements in line with the consumer’s location and preferences,” Mr Tarbey said.

The website’s auto-translation capabilities will also allow buyers to send and receive messages in their language of choice.
