New platform helps investors make faster, smarter deals
A new property platform has launched to simplify transactions by using real-time data and smart technology to connect investors with suitable properties and agents across Australia.
FOUNDIT, a new proptech platform, has launched to simplify and speed up property buying in Australia with expert-backed support.
Led by former Domain executive Angus Ferguson and ex-fund manager Joel Tomaino, the new platform raised $2 million in initial funding and is backed by property experts nationwide.
The platform leverages live market insights, custom-built technology, and an expanding network of buyers’ agents and sales experts across Australia.
FOUNDIT co-founder Angus Ferguson said the platform aims to streamline the buying process by matching motivated buyers with ideal properties and trusted experts for a smoother, more efficient experience.
“Buyers carry most of the risk in today’s market, but they’ve historically had the least support.”
“FOUNDIT is designed to change that by giving buyers structured support and connecting them with experts who know their market inside and out,” Ferguson said.
FOUNDIT’s model centres on a growing network of ‘Market Experts’ of experienced buyers’ agents, such as Victorian Lynda McNeill, who quickly embraced the platform’s scalable, well-supported system.
“FOUNDIT is the first platform I’ve seen that truly elevates—rather than replaces—the buyers’ agent model,” McNeill said.
He said the platform helps streamline buyers’ agents' work by providing exclusive market insights, real-time data, and scalable tools that improve every step of their process.
“That means I can focus on helping clients make smart, confident and informed decisions.”
“Whether they’re buying to live in or invest, it’s about matching the right property to the client's brief, with full visibility on the trade-offs. My clients are better informed, better protected and ultimately buying better,” McNeill said.
Additionally, the platform also supports real estate agents throughout the sale process.
Real Estate leader and coach Josh Phegan said that through FOUNDIT, buyers will be more educated and feel more confident about the market, ultimately leading to faster deals.
“FOUNDIT is raising the speed at which a buyer can confidently transact,” Phegan said.
“These are buyers who are highly educated and empowered to act during the buying cycle.”
“They can move faster, with more confidence to bid and buy, with less conditions and more certainty. They are also the sellers of the future. It helps agents, buyers and sellers all win together.”
FOUNDIT is currently expanding its network of experienced buyers’ agents ahead of its national launch in August, backed by key industry players and growing support for buyer advocacy.
“We’re building the tools and infrastructure to support the next generation of property professionals,” Ferguson said.
“This isn’t about disruption. It’s about enabling better transactions and better outcomes for everyone involved,” he concluded.
