The couple, who originally moved to London for a short stint, extended their stay as they built careers, started a family, and launched a business, all while remaining committed to growing their property portfolio back home.

Having already owned one investment property in NSW, they faced the challenges of managing overseas investments until they enlisted a buyer’s agent to provide local expertise and support.

The buyer’s agent helped them navigate market trends, financing, and legal processes, turning complex decisions into informed strategies.

Leveraging their earnings in pounds and their knowledge of the Australian market, Damiaan and Tanja were able to secure and grow their investments effectively.

Their South Australian property, purchased for $660,000, has appreciated by $200,000, validating the value of professional guidance.

The experience highlights the importance of a coordinated team and strategic planning for expats, making remote investment both feasible and profitable.
